Canvas Studio
Canvas Studio is a media tool that allows students and instructors to upload, create, edit, manage, share and discuss audio and video files. Studio is ideal for short (5-10 minute) lecture segments, supplemental content, or short student assignments.
You can deploy the videos throughout your Canvas site like in discussions, pages, or modules. You can also add quiz questions to videos using this tool.
Size of Lectures
Please keep in mind that long asynchronous lectures should always be split into 5-10 minute segments. If you would like to record a longer lecture, it is best to use another tool, like Zoom or VoiceThread.
